Spring blossoms with birds’ twitter and fragrance of flowers, characterizing a fine spring day. The sun was shining brightly and gaily. In order to let students relax mind& body from intense learning& everyday life, put themselves into nature’s embrace as well as cultivate teamwork collaboration consciousness, on 1st April, Anqing Foreign Language School initiated the springtime excursions for all teachers& students from Junior High Department of the west campus to head towards the Floating Mountain in Tong Ling City.
So as to guarantee the smooth implementation of this event, Anqing Foreign Language School issued ‘A Letter to Parents’ documents beforehand and convened specialized meetings for teachers to carry out prearranged safety planning so that we ensure security of each student. At 8.10 A.M. all teachers& students from Grade 9 gathered around the playground and started off under the leadership of Principal Xu Xuchang, merrily and orderly, full of vitality in a neat formation.
After the range of driving of more than an hour, all teachers& students arrived at the foot of the Floating Mountain, which covers the tourism scenic area with extremely pleasing landscape& scenery, a long history in addition to talented& famed people. More noticeably, students laughed and sang songs along the way, breathing fresh air and enjoying the sight of charming landscapes.
In a nutshell, our spring outing enabled students out of classrooms, made them stay close to nature, widened their knowledge and boosted cohesive force& unity, making students’ relationship more harmonious and concordant, which added the most gorgeous reminiscence in their junior high school life.
